Having spent a good portion of her life dancing and playing basketball and field hockey, Kiana is no stranger to the toll an injury can take on an athlete. Her lifelong goal of always helping others, coupled with her interest in preventive measures to avoid injury, led to her pursuing a bachelor’s degree in athletic therapy. After graduating, Kiana looks forward to a career supporting the physical health of athletes.

This scholarship will significantly help ease the financial burden of my education and allow me to concentrate on my studies and help me accomplish my educational goals of becoming a physical therapist/physical education teacher.
