Associa HRW Congratulates Marie Burrell on Industry Designation

RALEIGH, NC – October 19, 2016Associa HRW congratulates Marie Burrell for earning the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) designation from the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB) through the Community Associations Institute (CAI).

To receive the CMCA® certification, managers must complete the CAI Professional Management Development Program course, the M-100: Essentials of Community Association Management.  This course covers topics ranging from facilities management and community government to risk management and financial management.  Upon the completing the course and passing the exam, one must complete a comprehensive exam before earning the certification.

Burrell has worked for Associa HRW as community association manager for two years. She manages a portfolio comprised of single family, townhomes and condos. Previously, she worked four years with the State of North Carolina in hospital administration and seven years as an account manager in the home building industry.
