FORT MYERS, Florida – September 4, 2015 – In an effort to keep community association board members educated, Associa Gulf Coast hosts special HOA board member events and seminars which combine educational presentations from professional management and industry specialists.
On the second leg of its summer tour, Associa Gulf Coast brought its budget training seminar to Fort Myers on Augusr 13 after a successful turnout in St. Petersburg in July. In conjunction with Stroemer & Company CPA’s Samantha Sheffield, the training consisted of discussions revoloving around difficulties of budgeting such as unknown expenses or prior year profit/loss, reserve methods, studies, and reporting requirements. Associa cares about empowering each and every manager and board member with the joint goal in mind of protecting, maintaining and enhancing communities.
“The title of this seminar is “Knowledge is Power” because the most successful HOA boards are the ones who know how to budget effectively,” said Associa Gulf Coast President Michael Fleming. “We had a great turnout once again and I think the HOA board members in attendance took away some valuable information to share with their communities.
