Three Associa CDI Managers Earn Industry Certification

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minnesota – November 24, 2015 – Community Development, Inc. (CDI), an Associa company, is proud to announce that three of its association managers recently attained their Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation. Managers Lou Ross, Karla Strader and Debra Milinkovich each achieved this milestone within the last month.

The CMCA designation is recognized by Community Associations Institute (CAI) andis the only national certification program designed exclusively for managers of homeowner and condominium associations and cooperatives. The CMCA recognizes individuals who have demonstrated the fundamental knowledge required to manage community associations.

It is a testament to the dedication shown by our leaders in the field who are the face of this company and work directly with HOA boards and community residents,” says CDI President Lance Govang. “Unsurpassed service is our goal and Lou, Karla and Debra embrace that standard every day.”

Lou Ross is a community manager who has been with Associa CDI for more than three years. She’s been in the business for 26 years and currently manages nine communities ranging from single family neighborhoods to townhomes and active adult communities. Ross is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a Bachelor of Science in Conservation.

Karla Strader is a community managerin charge of a number of single family, townhome and condominium properties. She has 10 years industry experience and has been with Associa CDI since 2010.

Debra Milinkovich has worked as an Associa CDI community manager for nearly six years and has been in the business for 14 years. She has experience managing condos, townhomes, master planned communities and commercial properties such as office buildings, strip malls and warehouses.
